You spew words of hate about their profession and how everyone of them is corrupt... but one day you call them... and they still come.

You throw bottles of urine at their faces during a non-violent protest... but one day you call them...and they still come.

It’s shouting “murderer! Racist!” to the Officer who is sitting in his car eating his lunch...but one day you call them...and they still come.

You walk around wearing a shirt that says ACAB... but one day you call them...and they still come.

You shout “Defund The Police!” spit in their face...but one day you call them...and they still come.

You see an Officer on the side of the road assisting a motorist and you throw a middle finger in air without any regards for their safety...but one day you call them.. and they still come.

Then one day you need them...and you call...but there is no one left, and this time... no one comes.

We see the masses disbursing from departments across the nation, and we can only hope that there will be others to step up to take their place. Sometimes the right thing, and the hardest thing are the same. I pray that you find peace in your path, and courage in your calling- whether you are walking in to a life of service or away from it, you are appreciated more than you could ever know. We are behind you every step of the way.
