"A community of LEOWs who walk through life together. It's wonderful to have others who have the same experiences."

"I love meeting people who in so many ways can understand my life and the struggles that come with being a LEO family. I love hearing from other wives and thinking, 'Wow.. I'm truly not alone in this. My feelings must be normal, because she feels the same way.' I also love how SFF makes me feel like I can do something to make a difference in the LEO community, especially since things have been very negative for a while now."

"A group of LEOWs that work together to provide extra support to our officers across the state and to each other."

N.L.

"I love how SFF is an organization that is very community based by being a resource itself. SFF has wonderful resources and networks to continue to grow. They support LEO's and their families in many different ways. SFF helps LEOW's not feel alone as well which can help you feel fearless in these difficult times. It just feels like a wonderful warm and welcoming family with a whole lotta FAITH! There is definitely so much STRENGTH and I am so happy SFF exists."

"I love seeing other's posts and realizing my feelings aren't so bizarre - other wives feel it too. But most of all I love a place I can find the needs of those walking in these same shoes and in the same LEO family life who need meals, prayers, support, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Being made aware of situations and needs that I'd otherwise be oblivious to."

Y'all. These women right here...The group from the beginning of SFF. They have had my back, told me to calm down when needed, listen to be sob when talking about the chaos of this year, and laughed beyond control when things just happen. I need each one of them for so many different reasons. I count my blessings daily, but when I think of them I count things twice. We come from all walks of life. Different paths. Different careers. Different life stories. We are all in different parts of life. Only thing in common is we are all married to law enforcement in the Commonwealth of Va.
